Denver Wedding Photographer | Inspiration Shoot

Peach Wedding Inspiration

There are so many directions you can go with a single color.  Sweet Pea Flowers, Makeup by Sameera, Liz with Salon No Dice, Bella Bridesmaid, Tina with Worthwhile StyleParkside Mansion and AudreyMichel Photography teamed up to explore how differently you could use the color Peach.

As a Wedding Photographer, nothing excites me more than to show up and find a bride with beautiful makeup, hair, flowers.  I know her images are going to sing! Sameera and Liz created very clean, contemporary looks.

Thank you to all the fabulous vendors for a fun, creative day!

Fleur Decor

Wedding and Event Florist, Kristi Pohly with Fleur Decor brings bright, modern, and fun to your day with her beautiful designs. I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with Kristi over the past few months, what a blast!

Kristi started Fleur decor over ten years ago, and prides herself on being a green and eco friendly studio. She uses recycled glassware and composts flower scraps. My favorite… Kristi’s “Make Someone’s Monday” where takes nominations and uses her leftover flowers from the weekend’s events to surprise someone and Make their Monday.  How sweet is that?!?

Denver Wedding Photographer | Styled Shoot

Tangerine Wedding Inspiration

I love collaborating with vendors to create fun new looks!  Our idea with this shoot was to explore different ways to use orange/tangerine in different details. Vendors included:  Makeup By Sameera, hair stylist Liz with Salon No Dice, wardrobe stylist Tina with Worthwhile Style, Lisa with Sweet Pea Flowers, Audrey with AudreyMichel Photography, bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses were provided by Bella Bridesmaid, and we used the newly renovated Parkside Mansion.

We mixed the vintage charm of Parkside Mansion with bright balloons and chunky jewelry to inspire fun, modern brides.

Denver Wedding Photographer | Fluff Bridal Experience

Plan your Wedding

Planning a wedding is a huge undertaking!  And for many it is the first (and only!!) time they will go through the process.  There is a lot of research to do before booking any of your vendors, so having a large group of vendors in one place is really helpful!  Thanks to Brittany Bouse of Wedding Sophisticate, the Fluff Bridal Experience did just that.

Brittany brought on a great group of vendors inlcuding Fleur Decor, Frills Cake Shop, Blue Bridal, AudreyMichel Photography, Rodan and Fields, and Fluff Bar (providing hair, makeup, and cocktails) to help your planning along.

The Fluff Bridal Experience was different that any Bridal Show or Event.  Nestled in the heart of LoDo (downtown Denver) Fluff Bar host top Master Stylists by day, and a chic bar atmosphere at night.  The Bridal Experience brought together all the vendors, brides and her crew to hang out for an afternoon, sip signature drinks, taste amazing food, check out the latest in bridal fashion, as well as watch a bridal fashion photoshoot.

Huatulco Mexico | Denver Wedding Photographer

Mexico Vacation Part 1

It had been years since my husband and I traveled, just the two of us.  Don’t get me wrong, we are always up to something.  But even while in Europe, it was to visit family and friends.  And we decided it was time!  Thanks to great friends (and clients) at All-Inclusive Vacations for listening to what we wanted to do on our vacation (a bit of nothing, some deep sea fishing, surfing, golfing, and we wanted an unconventional location) they found us Huatulco.  Never heard of it? I’m not surprised, 90% of those we’ve talked to have no idea either.  Its a tiny fishing village on the Pacific side of Mexico, almost to Guatemala. There is one flight in from the US each week (flights from Mexico City daily) and only a small handful of Resort type hotels.  Exactly what we were looking for.

I took a ton of pictures… surprise?… so Part 1 is a few of my favorite Beach pics, since this is what we did for the first few days… Stared at the water from mid morning through sunset.

As a photographer, my favorite part was just watching the color of the water and sky change based on the light.  I loved late afternoon as the sun was starting to get low in the sky and hide behind the mountains.  And of course we had some amazing sunsets.

Stay tuned for images from some of our excursions!
