Mexican Coffee
We went on one other guided tour, up the mountain to a coffee plantation. And you got to jump off a waterfall!
It took about 2 hours to drive from the Hotels, up a winding dirt road to this coffee plantation. Although, they call it a plantation…we’d probably call it a farm. We got to see coffee beans, and how workers picked the beans, all the way through the coffee process. Pretty cool. Below is our guide Jaime (again! he’s our fav!) showing Aaron coffee beans, and which ones are ready to harvest.
This is Peluche, the resident goose. He’s quite friendly and has a lot to say… especially when lunch time came around.
After checking out the coffee plantation we went on a hike to the Waterfall. Very pretty, but bring the bug spray… and reapply after getting into the water. I got eaten alive! But got to swing like Tarzan (there is a picture of Aaron, couldn’t photograph myself!)
