Take a Walk
After the late June San Francisco wedding (coming soon!) we took a trip into the city. I haven’t been to San Francisco since I was about 12, so it was fun to see how my perception changed. The city is a lot smaller than I remember!
Wendy, one of the bridesmaids from the wedding, grew up in San Francisco and around China Town, and was gracious enough to give us a personal tour. My favorite part was ordering Egg Tart from a local bakery. SO GOOD!
Day Two included a trip to Fisherman’s Wharf. Also quite a bit different than I remember. First, the Sea Lions are gone! There were hundreds before… this time only a handful. Sad. And my Clam Chowder in a Sourdough Bread Bowl was more commercialized…but still yummy.

Day Three was supposed to be checking out the Painted Ladies, the Flower Market and Golden Gate Bridge, but in true San Francisco fashion, it was raining. This is my “run 5ft out of the car and take a picture” of Golden Gate. One other image was the Wordless Wednesday Feature last week.
Stay tuned for our trip to Sonoma!
