Farm Details
I could see any of these old farm items used in a wedding this season…may need a bit of work to clean it up first! I love what brides are up to with their styling and details. These however, are items left at my husband’s grandfather’s farm, which we now own. Every time we are back in Nebraska, we go to the farm and I bring the camera. This time I was able to photograph the old house and out buildings. Most of the 7 buildings on the home place are completely unsafe, including the house. Walls are falling in, and the floor is caving into the basement. It feels like the last inhabitants just up and left. So much stuff is still around. I love it!
Some day I’m going to clean this stove up and bring it to my home in Denver. Isn’t it beautiful?!
I love this image, the sun was shining through the cracked roof and onto a pile of work clothes.
Inside the house is still relatively intact. This record player is still plugged in!
…and if I could get into the house without falling into the basement, I would take this sofa! I could absolutely see this in a vintage store on South Broadway. Love it.
